Wendell B. Harris Jr’s directorial debut about career con man Douglas Street is a totally unique and experimental satire that frightened Hollywood when it was released in 1990.

How is the world wrong about this film?

From Andras: After winning the Grand Jury Award at Sundance Film Festival in 1990 Wendell B. Harris Jr. was unable to secure distribution for “Chameleon Street” or get anyone to fund a follow up. I’d never heard of it until it was recommended to me by director Skinner Myers and we invited him to join the podcast to share his take on this film and its troubled history.

Featuring an interview with director Skinner Myers.
